The teenager attended a school in the Great Yarmouth area. It is believed she fell ill after taking MDMA at an address in Hopton at around 12.30am on Saturday, January 24. She was taken by ambulance to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston, but she died a short time later. The community has since been left in shock, with friends, classmates and parents taking to social media to share their condolences. One parent described her as a “bright and funny girl” who was well-liked by those who knew her.
