C645 Round House Way, in Cringleford, will be closed between February 9 and 13.
While the road is closed, a diversion will be put in place for drivers.
A spokesman for Norfolk County Council said: "The council thanks people for their patience while this resurfacing work is carried out."
The work is expected to cost £90,000 and will be carried out by Norfolk County Council and its contractors.
Cringleford was included among the "richest" places in the Norwich area, alongside Thorpe St Andrew, New Costessey and spots in the Golden Triangle such as Earlham Road, College Road and Newmarket Road.
