Traffic warning issued to motorists after water mains bursts on busy Glasgow street

A water main has burst on Riverbank Street, with Scottish Water confirming the incident happened at around 2.15pm.
Engineers are currently on site carrying out repairs to the issue, which is affecting water supply in the area.
Once the repair is complete, water service will be gradually restored to affected customers.
A spokesperson for Scottish Water said: “Our engineers are on site to repair a burst water main which is affecting water supply to the surrounding area.
“To minimise disruption, we kindly ask that you use an alternative route if possible, as there may be some traffic delays in the area.”
