The discovery was made after officers on routine patrol stopped a vehicle on Quarrier Street on Tuesday, January 27. Three men, aged 38, 44 and 59, have been arrested and charged in connection. They are due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court at a later date. Sergeant Gary Arthur, Inverclyde Priority Policing Team, said: “This significant recovery highlights our ongoing efforts to rid our communities of dangerous and illegal drugs. “Drugs cause nothing but misery and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to bring those involved in their supply to justice.
