Glasgow firms plan lucrative trade mission to China this year

Businesses in Glasgow have established links with China, particularly in recent years, with emerging export opportunities.
British Chambers of Commerce said: “UK–China trade currently generates around £100 billion a year, with over 10,000 firms involved in exporting.
Glasgow firms are part of the picture.
Glasgow Chamber of Commerce said it has built particularly strong relationships in Shanghai and Beijing over the past seven years.
“Glasgow businesses have a long-standing and successful relationship with the Chinese market, especially Shanghai where Glasgow Chamber of Commerce is playing a growing role in opening doors and supporting companies through trade missions and commercial partnerships.
