The 39-year-old was pulled over on the M74 between junctions 5 and 6 near Hamilton at around 5.40pm on Sunday, at 5:40pm. Officers had noticed the vehicle undertaking and swerving on the motorway before bringing it to a stop. Lanarkshire Road Policing officers posted about the incident on X, and two young children were passengers in the car at the time. A spokesman said: "Lanarkshire Road Policing spotted this car undertaking and swerving on the M74. The campaign warns drivers against dangerous behaviour including drink and drug driving, speeding, failing to wear a seatbelt and driving while distracted.
