DOJ files federal charges against Ilhan Omar suspected attacker

The Department of Justice has filed a federal criminal complaint against Anthony James Kazmierczak, the man accused of spraying Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) with apple cider vinegar at a Minneapolis town hall event.
Kazmierczak is accused of forcibly assaulting, opposing, impeding, intimidating, and interfering with Omar while she performed her duties as a congresswoman.
Omar was callimg for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to resign or “face impeachment” when the suspect charged at her.
You’re splitting Minnesotans apart,” as he pointed at and sprayed Omar, according to the FBI special agent’s accompanying affidavit.
He has a criminal history, including a felony auto theft conviction and several DUI arrests and traffic violations.
