A Russian victory in Ukraine is far from inevitable, the United Kingdom said on Thursday at a meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Ankur Narayan, UK Delegation’s Counsellor for Politico-Military Affairs, stated that Russia’s war continues to impose extreme human losses on its own armed forces. “A Russian victory is far from inevitable. We (European partners) will support Ukraine for as long as it takes,” Narayan vowed, highlighting Europe’s €40 billion military aid last year. The UK government again declared that Russia’s war violates international law, contravenes the OSCE principles, and remains “inconsistent with the interests of its own people.”
