For one ambulance crew carrying a critically ill baby, however, waiting out the weather wasn’t an option. Video shared by the Ohio Department of Transportation and first reported by local outlet WLWT shows a plow truck pushing through thick snowfall while an ambulance follows closely behind with flashing lights. Hamilton County snow plow driver Joe Estes responded immediately, climbing into his truck and heading out to meet the emergency transport team. Officials said Estes connected with the ambulance along Interstate 71 and escorted the crew through snow-covered highways and city streets. In a Facebook post recounting the moment, the department praised Estes’ swift response and sense of duty.
