WASHINGTON — William Aderholdt, co-founder and executive director of the North Dakota-based startup Grand Farm, recently met with staff from the White House and the U.S. Department of Commerce to share insights on how startups are using artificial intelligence in agriculture. Aderholdt and his chief of staff, Matt Wendel, met with a number of federal officials, including staff from the office of Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D.ADVERTISEMENTMore on Grand FarmAderholdt and Wendel joined 13 founders who traveled to Washington with AI Salon, an organization focused on advancing AI education and fostering dialogue around emerging technologies. Discussions focused on how early-stage companies are using AI to address real-world challenges, as well as the importance of ensuring those startup perspectives are represented in broader AI policy discussions, according to a released provided by AI Salon. Gand Farm is a collaborative network of growers, corporations, startups, educators, researchers, government and investors working together to solve problems in agriculture through technology and innovation.
