Gerber Products Company is initiating a voluntary recall of a popular baby snack for possible pieces of plastic and paper, according to a recall notice posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The company is recalling limited batches of Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits out of an abundance of caution due to the potential presence of soft plastic and/or paper pieces that shouldn’t be consumed. Gerber stated it is no longer working with this flour supplier. The nationwide recall involves limited batches of Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits 5.5 oz. Consumers who may have purchased impacted Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits shouldn’t feed it to their child.
