PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – Clinton County has a new state Supreme Court justice, Chris Obstarczyk. Obstarczyk ran under the Republican-Conservative ticket last year. He is part of the 4th Judicial District in New York that covers 11 counties. It’s the first time since 2000 that Clinton County has a full-time state Supreme Court justice. Obstarczyk will serve a 14-year term and will largely handle civil cases.
