With respect to a recent article entitled Plans Emerge for Phillips Hardware Building, the plans for the Phillips Hardware space will take the town in a very wrong direction. I am one of the owners of the National Historic Landmark property at 31 Circuit avenue. We restored the property to its original 1860’s condition and have maintained it for the past 45 years. We care deeply about the wonderful and quaint Victorian character and ambiance of Circuit avenue. It is a whole different plan that completely ignores the history and character of the street.
