PRESS RELEASE: MARSHALL ATHLETICSHUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Women’s Basketball saw its 20-point halftime lead slip in a tough 85-82 loss to Troy on Wednesday evening at the Cam Henderson Center. The Trojans outscored Marshall 53-30 after the intermission, fueled by a 51-31 advantage on the glass, including 23 offensive rebounds. The top-scoring team in the SBC drained a go-ahead three-pointer in the final minute to give Troy a lead it would not relinquish. She is the first Marshall player since Abby Beeman in 2023-24 to record 10 or more assists in a game.
