Besides the revelation that Crimson Desert will offer two other playable characters besides Kliff, the latest deep dive by Pearl Abyss also revealed the sheer amount of things that players can do in Pywel. Fragments of the Abyss can be discovered on the continent – investigating them yields Abyss Artifacts for unlocking and upgrading skills. For instance, pay enough attention to a person fishing, and you’ll learn how to use a fishing rod. Interestingly, it seems you can threaten NPCs as well, perhaps for the sake of beating information out of them. Crimson Desert launches on March 19th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and it seems Pearl Abyss wasn’t kidding when it touted a world that’s bigger than Red Dead Redemption 2.
