Swimmers and surfers were ordered out of the water at several Sydney beaches again on Friday morning following fresh shark sightings. Manly Beach was cleared shortly before 7.15am after a surf lifesaver spotted a shark nearby, prompting lifeguards to direct people out of the surf as a precaution. Although the beach alarm was not activated, authorities moved quickly to empty the water while checks were carried out.
