Potential buyers of Camp Courage North, formerly a 96.5-acre camp on Lake George, plan to subdivide it into 17 residential lots.
They’ve dubbed it Lake George Courage Point.
During the public comment period, Steve Peterson said his wife’s grandparents owned Melahn Resort and her parents bought Lake George property in the 1950s.
Expressing concern about adding 17 more cabins, Peterson said Lake George is only 788 acres.
Lake George Township supervisor Cal Johannsen pointed out that Courage North Road is a blacktopped township road.
