Ukraine has received the first batch of energy equipment from Germany as part of a winter emergency support package. Germany has also provided €60 million for humanitarian needs and made a €167 million contribution to the Energy Support Fund, which Ukraine received in December. The German ambassador emphasized that decentralized energy supply is a key factor of resilience. These two units are just one element of Germany’s substantial energy support for Ukraine. As reported, international partners have confirmed their intention to provide Ukraine with new assistance to overcome the energy crisis, including more than 6,000 units of energy equipment.
