The European Commission has announced the allocation of €153 million in emergency assistance for Ukraine and Moldova, which is hosting Ukrainian refugees. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, the European Commission has allocated more than €1.4 billion for humanitarian aid programs for Ukraine and Moldova. EU-funded humanitarian aid is delivered in partnership with UN agencies, international, and non-governmental organizations. Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, at least €3 billion has been provided to Ukraine for energy security. Overall, EU support for Ukraine since 2022 has amounted to €193.3 billion.
