The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has extended businessman Ihor Kolomoisky’s preventive measure of detention until March 25 in the case concerning a contract killing. This was reported to Ukrinform by Maria Pylaieva, the spokesperson judge of the Pechersk District Court. “By the ruling of the investigating judge of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv, the period of detention of the accused has been extended until March 25, 2026,” she said. As previously reported, the Office of the Prosecutor General announced suspicion against Ihor Kolomoisky in May 2024. Later, Kolomoisky received two more suspicions regarding the withdrawal of a total of UAH 15 billion from PrivatBank.
