Russian forces carried out artillery strikes in the areas of Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region; Kucherivka, Rohizne, Studenka, Budky, Bezsalivka, Yastrubshchyna, Iskryskivshchyna, and Ryzhivka in the Sumy region. In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces launched 11 attacks near Vovchansk, Starytsia, Tykhe, and towards Ternova, Hrafske, Vovchanski Khutory, Hryhorivka, and Kolodiazne. In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops attempted twice to advance towards Zakitne. In the Prydniprovske sector, Ukrainian forces repelled an enemy attack towards the Antonivskyi Bridge. On January 28, 117 combat clashes between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders were reported.
