The sanctions list includes Russian television presenters Dmitry Guberniev, Ekaterina Andreeva, and Maria Sittel, as well as propagandist Pavel Zarubin. Sanctions were also imposed on Russian cultural figures, including actor Roman Chumakov and Russian ballet dancer of Ukrainian origin Sergey Polunin. "All of those designated today actively contribute to Russia's war against Ukraine, for instance through the raising of money for the Russian armed forces," the Council of the EU said. In total, restrictive measures related to Russia's destabilizing activities now apply to 65 individuals and 17 entities.
