The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has recovered significant sums of money as part of its anti-corruption efforts, according to its Half-Yearly Report for December 2025. The report shows that the Office secured notable financial recoveries and also confiscated prime movable and immovable assets linked to corruption and corruption-related offences. Under financial recoveries, the OSP disclosed that it retrieved US$2,000,000 on behalf of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF). In a separate case, the Office also recovered GH₵8,518,233.00 in connection with investigations into the diversion of petroleum products.
