The 2024 New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has described Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s most marketable and competent presidential candidate. Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Dr. Opoku Prempeh praised Dr Bawumia’s forward-looking ideas, noting that they are well-suited for the challenges of the 21st century. “My support for Bawumia is based on competence, experience, and track record. That is one of the reasons I support Bawumia.”Dr Opoku Prempeh described the former vice president as “an apprentice who has become a master,” highlighting his rise through the ranks and his deep understanding of governance at every level.
