In this role, Nelson will serve as a strategic advisor to the President, providing leadership across major institutional initiatives while playing a central role in advancing Iowa Central’s government relations strategy. Nelson brings nearly two decades of experience in organizational leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement. Most recently, she served as Vice President of the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance, where she was deeply involved in government relations, public-private partnerships, and regional economic development. "While at the Growth Alliance, I've had the privilege of partnering with Iowa Central on a variety of initiatives, an experience that has given me a deep appreciation for the college's impact.
