Plateau State Governor, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, has assured the Defence Holdings Company Limited (DHCL) of his administration’s readiness to partner with the company to ensure the successful take-off of the Defence Farms and Agro-Allied Products (DFAAP) initiative in Wase Local Government Area of the state. He noted that the proposed project aligns with his government’s drive to boost agricultural productivity, enhance food security, and stimulate economic growth across Plateau State. He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to the immediate handover of the 30,000 hectares of land already allocated to DHCL at Wase for the commencement of the Defence Farms project. According to the Governor, the project would not only boost food production but also enhance security in Wase and adjoining communities. The GMD/CEO thanked the Plateau State Government for the warm reception accorded him and his team, and prayed for sustained peace and continued development across the state.
