Nevada, MO - Timothy Lee Brooks, 71, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Nevada, MO on January 27, 2026. Tim entered this world on June 13, 1954, at the "old" Freeman Hospital, 2008 S. Sergeant in Joplin, MO, born to Horace Edward Brooks and Fern Irene (Phillips) Brooks. He proved his doctors wrong, living a full life with his parents in Parsons, KS, and Joplin. He is survived by his aunt, Eleanor Phillips (Anaheim, CA); cousins, Mike Farran (Nevada, MO), Lyle Phillips (Weatherby Lake, MO) and Jeanette Walker (Anaheim, CA); and his cousins' numerous children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tim's family would like to thank his "Brooks" family at Moore-Few for providing a home and welcoming community that he truly loved and for their years of dedicated service to him.
