ELLINWOOD — Yvonne Marie Brenn, 101, of Ellinwood, Kan. Yvonne Marie McCullough was born on Aug. 23, 1924, to Herbert and Genevieve McCullough in Minneapolis, Kan. As a young girl, her parents moved to Ellinwood, Kan., so her father couldassume the position of Chief Engineer at the Ellinwood Electric Plant. Yvonne moved with her husband to Corpus Christi, Texas, while he served as a naval pilot in the South Pacific during World War II. She later resided at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood, Kan., and then at Azria in Great Bend, Kan., until her death. Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Monday, March 9th, at Ellinwood Community Church.
