They say he was waving a rifle, yelling incoherently and appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. Officers say a female victim told them she was traveling on Avenue B when Donnan’s car struck her vehicle from behind. Police say she said she tried to drive away, but Donnan followed her in his car and tried to strike her again. Donnan was taken to East Alabama Medical Center, where he remains in the custody of the Opelika Police Department pending multiple criminal charges.
