Mrs. Tammy L. Potts, 62, of Abingdon, Illinois, died at 10:55 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 21, 1963, in Carthage, Illinois, to Leon and Janet Hope (Huls) Glisan. Tammy married Richard Potts on December 1, 1979, in Abingdon. She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Glisan; her stepfather, Leroy Hoffman; a brother, Terry Glisan; an infant sister, Lisa Jane Glisan; and her husband, Richard Potts. Tammy was a devoted stay-at-home mother who lovingly raised her six children and cared for her husband.
