Staff and wire reportThe City of Havre issued a health advisory notice after a valve failure at the water plant Wednesday, Jan. 28. (Montana Department of Environmental Quality) was notified as soon as possible and consulted on the valve failure and turbidity levels. This health advisory is to notify the community of these conditions and provide information if any users wish to seek further health care advice. A filter valve failure occurred at the Havre water treatment plant and filtered water turbidity exceeded the maximum allowable level. • The City of Havre will inform you when the health advisory has been lifted.
