SHELBY COUNTY - Nominationsare now being accepted for Shelby County Citizen of the Year. Nominees must be residents of Shelby County for at least one year, and have achieved excellence in service and volunteerism to the Shelby County Community. To submit a nominee, please write a letter describing why they should be selected. Letters may be mailed to the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce & Industry at 1901 Hawkeye Ave., Suite 101, Harlan or emailed to info@ exploreshelbycounty.com. Submissions are due by Friday, Feb. 27.
