Unveiling the first in its 2026 performance series, Montana Chamber Music Society will feature the talents of Xavier Foley on Friday, January 30th. A trailblazing artist, Foley is transforming the role of the double bass in 21st-century music. Committed to expanding the repertoire for solo double bass and chamber ensembles, his diverse catalog of compositions explores the instrument’s full range of expressive and technical possibilities. Admission to all regular Montana Chamber Music Society performances is $35 for adults, $25 for seniors, and $10 for students. Net proceeds from these programs support MCMS’s mission to present great chamber music performances throughout Montana year-round.
