CARTA for vehicle booting ordinance to enforce parking ticketsCHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- CARTA says they are looking to solve the increasing issue of unpaid parking tickets. CEO Charles Frazier says they are speaking with the city of Chattanooga about crafting an ordinance that would allow them to boot vehicles after multiple unpaid tickets. Currently, Frazier says they are unable to do so. Frazier says that the increasing number of unpaid tickets is causing the agency to lose money. He said, “What I’m talking about are the people that have 100 or more outstanding tickets.
