SRINAGAR: Four long-distance trains, including two Vande Bharat Express services running between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi (SMVD) Katra, are set to resume operations in April, according to Daily Excelsior. The cancellation of 20 trains has been extended for another two to three months, according to an official statement issued by the Jammu division of Northern Railway. The statement further said that 14 trains operating in the Jammu division will continue to run with short termination or short origination due to operational reasons. The services scheduled to be restored from April 2 include the Vande Bharat Express trains running between New Delhi and SMVD Katra in both directions, the statement said. The extended cancellations include several long-distance trains such as Garib Rath, Duronto, Humsafar and Janmabhoomi Express, along with select Vande Bharat, mail and superfast services.
