Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will be visiting Turkey on Friday, January 30, for talks on the regional and bilateral issues.
During the upcoming meeting, Fidan is expected to express Turkey’s desire to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in trade, energy, transportation, and connectivity, including border trade centers, the report added.
Fidan is also expected to state that Turkey is closely following recent developments in Iran, emphasizing that Iran’s security, peace, and stability are of great importance to Turkey.
Fidan is also expected to state that Turkey supports a swift and peaceful solution to Iran’s nuclear program and is ready to provide assistance if needed.
He is also expected to highlight the role played by the PKK/PJAK terrorist groups in the recent unrest in Iran, underlining that the complete neutralization of PJAK is an urgent necessity for Iran’s security.
