The Regina Police Service is asking the public to share any information they have that may assist in an ongoing homicide investigation. The investigation started on January 19, 2026, when officers attempted a traffic stop near Saskatchewan Drive and Albert Street, shortly after 3 a.m. The vehicle managed to evade police but was located a later in the 1400 block of Princess Street – all occupants fled the scene. Monday, January 26, 2026, 37 year-old Steven Myslichuk was arrested and he is facing the following charges: Indignity to a Dead Body [CC 182(B)]; and Accessory After the Fact to Murder [CC 240].
