COLONIE, N.Y. (WNYT) – A driver was hurt after their car caught on fire on Alternate Route 7 on Thursday morning. State Police said it happened in the westbound lane just west of the Miller Road overpass. The driver is being taken by Colonie EMS to the hospital. The center and right lanes are currently closed for fire operations, police said.
