Always in the last place you lookImagine winning $200 million, but losing out on an additional $200 million. That’s the emotional push and pull that a California man is going through, as he won $197.5 million in the Mega Millions multistate lottery, but just lost a lawsuit over a misplaced second ticket that would have gotten him another $197.5 million. He claims, however, that he bought two tickets with the same winning numbers and lost one of the tickets. Thus, he was only able to redeem one of them for $197.5 million. This week, a judge threw out the lawsuit, saying that without the second ticket, Lahijani had no claim to the other $197.5 million.
