Freight boat cancelled and passenger sailings under review as NorthLink warns of more weather related disruption

Tomorrow’s northbound freight boat has been cancelled and passenger sailings are also under review due to the weather.
The ferry operator said the passenger ferry Hrossey would depart Aberdeen for Kirkwall and Lerwick at the earlier time of 3pm today (Thursday) due to the adverse weather.
The Hjaltland will leave Lerwick at the scheduled time of 7pm but her arrival in Aberdeen tomorrow morning may be subject to weather related delays and be subject to harbour clearance.
Both of tomorrow’s passenger sailings are under review.
Freight boat Hildasay had been due to depart Aberdeen at 3pm tomorrow for Kirkwall and Lerwick but her sailing has now been cancelled.
