On January 26, the District of Invermere celebrated the official groundbreaking ceremony at the Lakeview Washrooms with Mayor Al Miller and Councillor Grant Kelly. These upgrades to the facility were made possible thanks to generous support from the BC Active Transportation Grant Program, covering 70% of the project. These improvements help support active transportation, reduce congestion, and make it easier for residents and visitors to enjoy downtown on foot or by bike.
