The reconstituted Management Committee and Technical Team of Ghana’s national male Under-20 side, the Black Satellites, have held their first official meeting as preparations begin for upcoming international assignments later in the year. The meeting took place on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the headquarters of the Football Association and was chaired by the Management Committee Chairman, Alhaji Abu-Hassan Mahamadu (Rhyzo). In his address, the chairman encouraged the committee and technical team to justify the confidence and trust reposed in them by the leadership of the Football Association, stressing the importance of teamwork and long-term planning in rebuilding a competitive Black Satellites side. Head coach Maxwell Konadu attended the meeting alongside members of his backroom staff, as technical matters and alignment with management were central to the discussions. The maiden meeting marked an important first step in laying a solid foundation for the Black Satellites’ future, with both management and technical leadership aligned on early planning, structure and preparation as the team looks ahead to its next competitive cycle.
