That, plus the need to fly out of Rome’s less-than-lovely Ciampino, would degrade the Wizz Air option for me. I sleep badly on planes, so I am hoping to travel using short-haul day flights with airport stopovers overnight, or for a few days sightseeing. Another option, fly via Delhi, aboard either Air India or Qantas, stopover for a few nights and continue to Bishkek with Air Astana, a 6½-hour, one-stop flight.
