According to government data, 5.1 million preventive medical screenings have been carried out so far under similar programmes, including nearly 950,000 mammograms, 700,000 gynaecological check-ups, more than 900,000 colorectal cancer screenings, and 2.5 million cardiovascular examinations. The government says expanding preventive medicine remains a key policy priority, aimed at improving public health outcomes while reducing long-term healthcare costs.
