Riewe’s priorities include attracting more travelers to stop, shop, and stay in North Platte by supporting retail, dining, fueling, and lodging growth that creates jobs and expands local revenue. “When we bring more people off the highway and into our community, everyone benefits—from local businesses to city services,” Riewe said. A third focus of his platform is positioning North Platte as a regional hub for school events, concerts, and community gatherings—converting through-traffic into local spending that supports local businesses. “North Platte has a real opportunity to grow in a smart, practical way,” Riewe said.
