Maynard might be getting a new look this Super Bowl Sunday, at least in name. The nod is, of course, to Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, who has led the team to a 14-3 season and an AFC Championship title. The Select Board will take up the proposal during its meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. at Maynard Town Hall, 195 Main Street. Town officials say the idea came as a lighthearted way to show local support during Super Bowl week. If the measure passes, residents and visitors could see banners, signs, and digital displays around town using the new “MAYEnard” name throughout Super Bowl Sunday.
