SPRINGFIELD — It is winter, but that does not mean there is nothing to do at Forest Park. The Springfield Parks, Buildings and Recreation Department has organized its annual Fabulous February, two days of activities for all ages to entertain families and children of all ages. Fabulous February has been a tradition at Forest Park for nearly 50 years. Families can head over to the Moriarty Senior Center next to the Zoo at Forest Park to experience a horse-drawn wagon ride through the snow-covered landscape from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pasini said there are year-round events at Forest Park and many of the other recreation areas in Springfield.
