Irish hip hop trio Kneecap are returning in April to play a room roughly one-sixth the size of their last Bristol show. Now Rough Trade Bristol has secured a major coup by booking them for an intimate show at one of the city’s most longstanding independent venues. The album is inspired by and named after warriors in Irish folklore named the ‘fenian’, with the word later used as a derogatory term for the Irish. The lucky Bristol few who manage to secure tickets for this show will no doubt be in for a typically no-holds-barred performance from the band.
