Hunter01/29/26A Coralville man faces charges after allegedly stealing items from Goodwill. 49-year-old Louis Church of Holiday Road took a shopping cart full of merchandise into the bathroom. He then left the room wearing different clothes than when he walked in and left the store. Police were able to identify Church because along with the clothes he left, he also forgot hs phone in the bathroom. With two prior theft convictions, Church was charged with 3rd degree Theft, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a prison term of up to two years if convicted.
