The Batesville Middle School cross country team participated in the Eagle Classic Invitational hosted by Brown County Middle School. The boys varsity team stepped to the line first in a field of 200 runners and were led by Jayden Fogle and Cael Luhman. Out of over 30 schools, the varsity boys placed 8th overall with 228 points. Ana Shane led the girls varsity team with a 12th place finish followed closely by teammate Emmalynn Allgeier who finished in 19th. Honey Creek Middle School was the meet champ with 95 points.
